Our annual Luncheon is our largest fundraising effort of the year with funds raised supporting the direct services we offer our homeless and vulnerably housed neighbors. We hope that you will support the event as an underwriter or individual ticket holder.
If you are unable to attend the event we hope you instead consider a general donation to LOTS. Whether you are able to give or not, we always welcome prayers, volunteers, and goods that can support our work. You can learn more by reaching out to us at [email protected].
Lord of the Streets is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization. Your donation may be tax deductible as allowed by law. |
About Chris Wilson
Born and raised in Washington D.C., Chris Wilson grew up with poverty, drug addiction, and gun violence as the everyday norm in his community. At the age of 17, he was charged with a crime, convicted, and sentenced to natural life in prison. It was during times of isolation in prison that he decided not only to turn his life around, but to make a difference in the lives of people who currently live in poverty-stricken communities similar to his childhood surroundings. Now a visual artist, author, film producer and social justice advocate, he splits his time between Baltimore, MD, and New York City supporting prison education and re-entry pathways, financial literacy, and art programs for returning citizens. His book, The Master Plan, continues to inspire people from all walks of life.
